Clarins Instant Smooth Primer ♥ Maybelline Baby Lips ♥ Caudalie Beauty Elixir  ♥ L'oreal Super Liner ♥ Vitamin E Moisture Radiance Cream
Caudalie Beauty Elixir
There was so much hype around this product when it first came out and I find its still a product I go back to again and again. I love the scent, how it refreshes my skin and how it works perfect as a setting spray. I’m almost out again so payday on Friday needs to hurry up!
Clarins Instant Smooth Primer
This is by far the best primer that I have found for keeping my make up in place all day, but it is on the pricey side at £26 per tub. Lucky for me my sister didn't get on with this product so I have inherited a new tub. This leaves your skin feeling silky smooth, hides your pores and holds your make up in place perfectly. It’s just a shame it isn't more affordable!
Vitamin E Radiance Moisture Cream
This is another product I have gone back to. I'm trying to save for my holiday so I have had to hold of splurging on my favourite Origins moisturiser, and when I walked past this in Superdrug I instantly remembered how much I loved this. It only costs £2.99 which is a complete bargain and it just gives my skin a gorgeous dewy finish. I would pay a lot more for this and will definitely not be forgetting about this again!
L’oreal Super Liner Perfect Slim
If like me you are just not skilled at a cat flick then this is the product for you. It is pretty much just like a felt tip making it easy to hold and apply. The nib is very fine so its super easy to use just above your lash line, it doesn’t smudge and lasts all day so it’s a winner in my book.
Maybelline Baby Lips Pink Punch
I’m not really one to wear lipstick every day, sometimes I just find it a bit ott to wear in the office. I have been loving the Baby lips in Pink Punch as it really keeps my lips nice and soft while adding a gorgeous subtle pink tone, perfect for everyday wear. These are also only £2.99 and so convenient to just throw into your handbag.

The make up bag is by Charlotte Tilbury and I just love it. Its elegant but still fun and a great size for traveling.

Perfect Primers?

Perfect make up requires a perfect base. If you have a good base then the rest of your make up will sit so much better, giving you that flawless look that we all crave. I have been few a fair few primers in my quest for flawless makeup so here are my thoughts on some of the ones I have used.

The Revlon Photoready Primer is a product that I was really excited about when it was released but to be honest I found that for me it did, well nothing. It didn't help my foundation or brighten my skin. However I did give the rest of this to my house mate and she seems to be getting on with it fine.

MeMeMe Seventh Heaven Moisturising Facebase I think is massively overlooked. I love this product it has a creamy formula and a slight citrus scent, I also think the packaging is really cure.  The trick with this is that once it’s applied to wait about 5 minutes so that it completely sinks into your skin, you then apply your foundation and voila it sits lovely. It also really helps to keep my foundation in place for the majority of my working day, definitely the best primer I've found on the high street so far.

The Porfessional by Benefit has so many rave reviews  but here comes negative nelly, i'm afraid this product just didn't blow me away. I found that it just made my skin feel really greasy and my make up just slipped off. My skin is combo/oily so maybe I just don’t have the right skin type for it, I think as there was such hype around it that’s why I was so disappointed as I really wanted to love it.

Clarins Instant Smooth has recently taken the beauty blogging world by storm and it really is worth the hype. The product glides over your skin covering redness and filling in pores creating a smooth surface ready for your foundation application and helps it stay in place all day. I can’t get enough of this product at the moment and is a staple in my everyday routine.

What primers do you use? Please let me know if I’m missing out on a great product. Did any of these work for you?

Clarins Water Purify One Step Cleanser

Water Purify One Step Cleanser

Clarins are fast becoming one of my favourite brands, the quality of their products is always top notch and the Water Purify One Step Cleanser hasn't disappointed me.

This product is an essential for people on the go. It’s designed to remove light make up is a single step or as a morning pick me up. I tend to use this if I'm staying round my boyfriend’s, or if I have been out and had a few too many glasses of vino and a full cleanse just seems like a bit of an effort. Basically this is the ultimate lazy girl cleanser. This was a life saver last weekend for me when I stayed round my friends house and it's so nice to wipeIf you’re going to a festival this year is the sort of product that is essential to keep you feeling clean.

The cleanser contains the following:
Mint Essential Water purifies, reduces redness and tones the skin
Coconut derivative dissolves surface grime and light make-up
Moringa Seed extract neutralises harmful pollution and detoxifies the skin
Isphagul and Provitamin B5 soften and hydrate the skin by rebalancing its  protective
Honey and Glycerine regulate and maintain skin's moisture level

The formula is so gentle and it’s also perfect for people with oilier skin.

You can buy the Clarins Water Purify One Step Cleanser from Feel Unique for £19 which may seem pretty but like I said if you’re on the go a lot I highly recommend this. I don’t use it every day so the 200ml will last me a good few months.

Have you tried this or any other Clarins products?

Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch

Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch

I received this little pot of loveliness for Christmas and I'm just gonna dive straight in there and tell you I don't know what I did without this product.

We all want a flawless face and I love trying new primers to create that perfect base. Everyone raves about Benefits, The POREfessional but for me I just couldn't get one with it, yes it filled my pores but it left my skin feeling very greasy. My skin is combination/oily so I really don’t want more oiliness adding to it.

I apply the Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch after moisturising and focus it around my t-zone and chin, after a few minutes I then apply my foundation. The product comes with a spatula to help apply it and you only need to use a tiny amount.

The first time I applied this after finishing my makeup I was absolutely amazed at the results. I don’t wanna toot my own horn or anything but I had one of those moments when I looked in the mirror and actually thought my skin looked great, like I really had created the ‘Perfect base’. My pores were filled, redness reduced and my skin felt velvety soft, my foundation applied over it like a dream.

I really don’t have a bad word to say about this product, obviously I wish it was cheaper for when I need to repurchase but to be honest I am gonna have to bite the bullet because its a fabulous product.

You can pick up the Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch from Feel Unique for £25.

Have you tried this yet? What primer do you use?
