How Much is My Face Worth?

I have seen this tag floating around the blogging world the last few weeks and have actually been horrified at some of the costs, some even go as high as £200+! Imagine if you lost your make up bag with all of those products in, I certainly don't have the money to replace it all in one go. Never the less I think this tag is great fun so I'm hopping on the bandwagon, as a high street girl I hope will still be able to breathe at the end of the post.

This is the make up I wore for my friends birthday night out on Saturday night.

Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser - £18.75
MeMeMe Cosmetics Moisturising Facebase - £15
Revlon Colourstay Foundation - £12.49
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer - £4.19
Rimmel Stay Matt Pressed Powder - £3.99

Accessorize Blush - £5
MeMeMe Cosmetics MoonBeam Highlighter - £5.25

Elf Eyebrow kit - £3.75
HD Brow Beater - £14.95
Rimmel Waterproof Eyeliner - £3.99
L'oreal Super Liner - £6.49
Maxfactor Eye Brightening Mascara £7.99
Elf Eyelid Primer
MUA Heaven and Earth Palette - £4.00

L'oreal Universal Lip Glow - £8.49

Total: £115.83

Well I consider myself a low maintenance kinda girl but still I managed to hit £100, crazy!

How much does your face cost?

  1. I just got the Liz Earle moisturiser for my birthday but am yet to try it as using up my current one first. I usually go for an SPF but read that this can give you a shine, this doesn't have one though, can you tell a difference on a night out in the photos etc? Looks great in the pic above! :)

    1. I always wear SPF in the day whether its from a moisturiser or suncream or foundation. but at night time this is perfect i think its the spf that causes the flashback because it relects the light. So if you have a photo taken at night with the flash on it makes your face appear whiter than it is because of the spf. I hope that makes sense!? But this a lovely moisturiser I hope it works for you xx

    2. I'm the same, always have an SPF in my morning moisturiser but as you say, in the evening this could be just the trick. Thanks, I look forward to trying it :D

  4. It is crazy how much it all adds up to! However most products are an investment -- like you wouldn't use a whole bottle of foundation, it lasts you months! Great post - I do love this tag. xx
